Jeff Miller (born June 27, 1959) is an American politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 1st congressional district from 2001 to 2017. A member of the Republican Party, Miller focused much of his legislative career on veterans’ affairs, defense, and national security. As chairman of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, he was recognized for his efforts to improve healthcare and support services for U.S. military veterans. Before his time in Congress, Miller worked as a journalist and radio host, later entering public service through the Florida House of Representatives.
